Italy has a very rich heritage of art and culture and staying in Bibione, thanks to its strategic position, also allows you to visit the beautiful cities of Veneto and Friuli which are just a few kilometers away:

VENEZIA:

Every year it welcomes millions of tourists from all over the planet and we certainly do not exaggerate by calling it the most beautiful and magical city in the world. Piazza San Marco with the Basilica and its bell tower, the Palazzo Ducale (in Venetian Gothic style, that was the seat of the Doge), the Rialto Bridge and the Grand Canal are absolutely to see. But the charm of Venice is also a walk through the calli (typical street), between the typical bacari and artisan shops, or taking a romantic gondola ride through the canals of the Serenissima.
Don’t leave Bibione before visiting Venice and the famous islands of the lagoon, that are known throughout the world for its history, craftsmanship and pictorial foreshortenings: Murano, famous for the long tradition of glass craftsmanship, the picturesque Burano, for the brightly colored houses of fishermen and for lace and embroidery, and Torcello. The islands can be reached from Venice thanks to the ferry (vaporetti) connections.
–> Venice is easily reachable by train, thanks to the connections from the station of Latisana or Portogruaro, or by car in less than an hour.

VERONA:

Famous in the world as the city of Romeo and Juliet, the city of love. Its main attraction is the Arena, the Roman amphitheater that in summer hosts the opera festival, important concerts and musicals. In the center you can also see Juliet’s house and the infamous balcony.
–> Verona is easily reachable in a couple of hours by car through the A4 highway from the Latisana or Portogruaro toll booth towards Milan.

TRIESTE:

Port city with a multi-European character. To see is the Castle of Miramare, overlooking the sea, from which the view is nothing short of breathtaking.
–> Trieste can also be reached by car in about an hour.
